You sign in with Google or Apple. We receive an account identifier and, where the provider supplies it, an email address. We never receive your password. You choose a nickname, a country, and optionally a gender; these are stored on your profile.
Cases, statements, community posts, comments, replies to daily couple questions, and support enquiries are stored so the app can show them back to you and to the people you share them with. Statements describe personal disagreements and can be sensitive. Please do not include information you would not want stored, such as identity numbers or financial details.
Couple links (a six-character code and who joined it), jury votes, bookmarks, daily fortunes, and a flag for whether you enabled notifications.
When both sides of a case have filed a statement, the text of that case is sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini or OpenAI, depending on configuration) to generate a verdict and reconciliation missions. Only the case content is sent — not your email, nickname, or account identifier. If no AI provider is configured, a fixed template is used and nothing leaves our servers.
Cases are private between you and your partner. Nothing appears in the public gallery unless you explicitly publish it, and published cases are shown to other users without your nickname or account identifier attached.
Content is partitioned by country. Users in one country cannot read cases or community posts from another.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Your content is kept until you delete it or ask us to delete your account. Email help@jocoding.net from your account address and we will erase your profile, cases, statements, verdicts, posts and comments. Content already published to the public gallery is removed as well.
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, or its deletion, at the address above. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
Love Court is not directed at children and is not intended for users under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, if higher).
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app.
